Alumni and friends are essential to the success of our college

Alumni, parents, friends, faculty, and staff provide ongoing support for our college and its academic programs, departments and student services.

 

    Alumni and friends can stay connected with UD in a variety of ways. They can:
  • Share success stories for news and magazine articles that promote the college.
  • Be awarded honors for their professional achievements. 
  • Serve as guest speakers for classes.
  • Help recruit students. 
  • Volunteer to help with public events, such as Ag Day.
  • Pursue additional degrees or continuing education opportunities.
  • Visit campus.
  • Participate in reunions and other alumni events.

Munch and Mix

Alumni of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources are working around the world to develop solutions to complex agricultural, environmental, and ecological problems. They work in fields related to animals and plants, soils, geochemistry and geobiology, land use and watersheds, ecosystems and wildlife, agricultural and resources economics, and engineering systems. They are researchers, teachers, scientists, doctors, lawyers, economists, conservationists, engineers, biologists, landscape designers, zookeepers, product developers, salespersons, farmers, florists, policy makers, business owners, and more.

 

spotlight on success

Andrew Wedel graduated from UD's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources in 1992 with his bachelor's degree in Agriculture Engineering Technology. He is currently employed as an agricultural engineer and the division manager at McLanahan Corporation in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. Andrew was part of the engineering team that installed the new sand/manure separation and recycling system on the UD Dairy Farm.
